When you meet someone and you’re trying to figure out if to date them or not do you consider your astrological signs and their compatibility? Do you weigh in the pros and cons like a Libran? Maybe go with the Aquarian flow? Are you swept by the astrological currents like a good Piscean? Would you simply venture into all the horoscope panoramas like an adventurous Sagittarian? Or do you ignore the zodiac all together like a rebellious Taurean? Tell us what your divine sign is. | ||

I don’t particularly believe that I’ll find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, nor that the heavens will part with the sweet melody of harps playing in the background as Jesus welcomes me to his divine kingdom with open arms. So it’s no surprise if I share with you that I don’t believe in the perfect sun sign for me. Finding the perfect girlfriend/mate depends on what you like in a woman. All the things she says or does that makes her stand out from the rest. Yes, astrology is a science but it’s far more complicated than figuring out what your girl’s sun sign is. If you really are into astrology then maybe you should buy serious books on the topic and make sure it’s written by an expert. Someone who has a PhD in astrology. Get ready to share the 411 on your girl with them, not just her sun sign but also include her moon sign. Don’t stop there, you’ll have to give them your girl’s date, time and year. You’ll have to get specific and narrow her time of birth to the hour, minute, second, even the nano sec. But although it may help you understand her better it shouldn’t make a difference or affect how you feel about her. For the most part every day astrology should be fun. I’d rather be clueless about their sun sign and focus more on who they are and what they like or dislike and it’s always nice to let them surprise and wow me (even if it’s in a bad way). I’ll happily go on through life freely meeting anyone without prejudging them. In the end I get along with just about anyone. Someone who’s fun loving, down to earth and genuinely cares about their friends and family through the good and bad times is a blessing in my life. To me, a woman’s distinctive personality is what makes her wonderful. Many things play an important part in people’s behavior such as upbringing and circumstances to name a few. In the end, when you make a friend or fall in love it all comes down to the personality of the individual. Horoscopes only scratch the surface of who we really are. Although it’s always fun to dream about a Lioness purring in my ear or just being fiesty growling at me as she lays down the rules in our kingdom. Rrrr. | I love the Sun, I like admiring the Moon and Saturn is, in my opinion, the prettiest planet out there (she wears the best looking rings in the universe). I’m not sure though how much I should guide myself by the cosmos when it comes to picking someone to date or have a relationship with. Nevertheless, when I meet someone I do eventually find myself asking them when their birthday is and immediately after that blurring out a comment along the lines of “so you’re a ____” (Aries, Virgo, Leo, fill in the blank). I have to say that I have many times found attractive and not so attractive characteristics within people that belong to the same zodiac sign. And so far, I have noticed that I tend to get along better with certain astrological signs than others. I wouldn’t, however, totally discard someone if they told me they’re from a horoscope sign that I usually don’t click with. I probably wouldn’t do that because I have met people that have been born on the same day who turn out to be very different... so if that’s the case, who’s to say that I’m always, without exception, going to (not) get along with people born in a certain month of the year? Yes, my heart palpitates a little faster when I know she’s a passionate, hot Scorpio. But then those palpitations just as well convert themselves into buckets of ice when I think of her supposed vengeful, possesive nature. I love astrology and entertain myself endlessly reading and figuring out who’s a so called ‘hook up’ for me but at the end of the day, there are plenty of realistic Pisceans, easy going Capricornians and assertive Geminis to make me think it over and instead of looking into the stars, just wish upon the stars, to find that perfect someone.

7/12/2006 I wouldn’t go out of my way to date someone from a particular zodiac sign but I do like to ask the women I date what their horoscope is. I think astrology does help us know someone’s personality. I have dated many women and most of them tend to be Aries and Virgo. Obviously these two zodiac signs fit me really well so when I hear that a lady I like is one of these two I do get excited about our possible connection. Anne, Oregon | |||
7/13/2006 Sometimes I don’t agree with what my daily horoscopes has to say and there are a few things that my horoscope sign (Leo) says about me that I don’t totally agree with but I do think that astrology can guide you in choosing a girl that’s compatible to you. 7/13/2006 I am a Capricorn Aquarius cusp. From what I’ve been reading, my zodiac is right on the money describing me. I haven’t dated that many women in my life but my two long term relationships have been a Taurus Gemini girl and a Capricorn 2 and both of these women are on my list of best matches. 7/13/2006 You don’t need to consult an astrologer or anyone else to know if your relationship is going to work. I never ask anyone what their astro sign is. Sometimes it comes out in conversations but even when they tell me when their birthdays are I don’t really pay much attention to their astrological sign. I do have a lot of things in common with some of the zodiac signs that are my match but nothing has lasted too long so for now I don't really believe too much in astrology and the chemistry between the signs. 7/13/2006 I am an Aquarius 1 and my girlfriend of 7 years is an Aries 3. According to horoscopes we are a long term relationship and 7 years is a whole lot of time. We get along really great and had a wonderful chemistry from the moment we met. I can't say that astrology is right 100% of the time but for me it's been very accurate. I have no intentions of being with another woman. I am extremely happy with my partner. 7/15/2006 Every time I read the horoscope of my girlfriend and mine I have to laugh. It always says we wouldn’t get along because Leo’s love to be praised and Taureans will get tired of doing this and eventually this problem will cause us to break up or apparently make enemies out of us. 7/17/2006 I was born under the Pisces Aries Cusp. I have dated several different Virgos and Pisces plus a couple of other signs and somehow the ones I've lasted with the longest have been Leo Virgo cusp and Aquarius Pisces cusp. Funny enough these two are under my list of best match ups. I wouldn't mind at all going out with other women but Virgos and Pisces really make a good fit with me, especially some of the cusps. 7/17/2006 If I don't tell you what my birthday is I can still bet that you're going to like me. It's not that I have a big ego but my personality has always blendeded well with almost everyone. I can take on a Capricorn or a Pisces, a Scorpio or a Gemini. It doesn't matter when you are born but what you make of yourself and the interaction that you share with that person. 7/19/2006 If biology, chemistry and physics, not to mention astronomy, are considered sciences why do people avoid accepting astrology as another type of it? Maybe a lot of unscrupulous people have made a mockery of it but there is something to be said with the alignment of planets and how it affects our feelings and personality. Why is it that people believe in the effects of a full moon but not of an ascendant sign? There’s a lot more to astrology than the twelve zodiac signs we usually read about. In fact, like even this site shows, there are more than just your regular Aquarius, Pisces and Geminis... there are different stages within Aquarius (I, II, III) and then there are the cusp signs like Sagittarius Capricorn cusp, Taurus Gemini cusp, Cancer Leo cusp etc. Besides your straight forward horoscope there are as well many other aspects to be studied and considered. Apart from sun signs there are moon signs, conjunctions, ascendants, decendants, houses and so many other angles to this science. So don’t be discouraged by astrology, it has a lot of insight to offer to those who are looking for a quick read or those who want to delve into serious studies. Natalie, Oregon | |||
7/19/2006 You will always find believers and skeptics. I don’t take astrology to heart but I do follow it in the newspaper and I do like comparing my compatibility with other women. It’s interesting to see what traits we might have in common and what can break us apart. 7/21/2006 I like horoscope sign reading and I think that predictions do many times come true. I also think that astrology can help you decide how well you are going to get along with someone. I look at my hook ups and I couldn’t disagree with it. I get along best with the zodiac signs that are supposed to be for me. Now sometimes I meet someone from a sign that’s not the best suited for me and that doesn’t mean that I push that person to the curve but for relationships I find that astrology has helped me find the best partners for me. 7/21/2006 I was born on August 15 th. When I look at my list of people to be with I see a reflection of a bunch of people I've dated. I am bisexual and I have dated many men and women and let me tell you that Gemini Cancer, Taurus 2 and Aquarius 1 and 2 people are without a doubt super hot for me. 7/23/2006 Hi, my ex-girlfriend and I got into these really horrific fights. We had been together for 3 years. Before breaking it off with her I had tried working out things between us but the more I tried the worse it became. She’s a Pisces and I’m a Virgo. What they say of Pisces being dreamy does not reflect on my ex. She was ultra jealous,insecure, and is vindictive, manipulative and one of the meanest people I have ever known. You must be wondering why I stood in such a relationship with such a messed up person and the answer to that is because she is 47 when I met her and I was 18. 7/24/2006 Many people believe in horoscopes and pay lots of money for advice. I recently read online about a con artist who goes by the name of ‘Maria Duval’. It seems she send this chain letter to innocent people claiming to have money for them. They also have other scams as well in which they ask for all your personal information. These are a few of the new ones I’ve seen lately: 1-Do you have serious money problems?(they ask you to write down the amount of money they will generously give you after you give them all the info they require. 2-Are you unlucky (do you feel like you’ve been born under a bad star)? 3- Are you working? Are you retired? 4- Are you married or do you have a spouse? 5- Are there major problems in your love or family life? 6- Do you feel lonely or misunderstood? 7- Do you feel as if a spell has been cast on you like someone has sent bad luck your way? 8- Have you ever won any money even small amounts, at the lottery or other games of chance? 9- Are you caring for anyone right now? They ask for reasons only known to them, to write a few words, and the questions which disturbs me the most in capital letters. Also, they make sure to say it’s very important for you to give them your date of birth, month, year and time. The place you were born and city/town/state/province/country. They ask you to confirm your astrological sign and first name, last name, address, state, zip, city, town. Then after all this they write, I understand that depending on my answers, Maria Duval is going to contact me directly by mail. She is going to tell me what I need to do so that my life can change for the better and so that I can receive the large sum of money she has seen in my future. Although this is a free offer, they can do a lot of damage to an innocent person. So people be aware that anyone asking too much info such as the questions above is a con. Don’t be fooled. TKO | ||||
8/02/2006 Coincidence or not, when I read my horoscopes there is usually some truth to what it says. Ok, so some things are not 100% accurate but then a lot of things besides astrology aren’t entirely precise. I enjoy reading horoscopes and matching myself up with the rest of the zodiac signs. 8/08/2006 I was born under the Sagittarius horoscope sign. I am sporty, love to travel, curious and dislike to date women who put obstacles in my life. Although there may be tons of people out there that also like these things they are usually very tied to the Sagittarius spirit. I find that these ways characteristics are very ‘me’. 8/10/2006 People who don’t believe in astrology are normally people who also don’t believe in many other things. So maybe zodiac descriptions aren’t always right and then there are times when they are totally wrong. But is that to mean that there’s no ounce of truth to them? I think you can’t so, therefore...
